MCI Group, the congress organiser and association management company, has taken over a Middle East-based media and events company as it seeks to meet client demand by offering a wider range of services.
The Geneva-based firm has acquired a majority stake in Dubai-based One Communications and Marketing Group – the holding company behind various regional media and public-relations outfits, including Turret Media, Saluki Media, tmh, ONE PR and ONE Digital.
Ajay Bhojwani, MCI Middle East managing director, said: “The collaboration with One CMG strengthens our presence in the region. It not only increases our talent capacity by three times, it more importantly adds to our creative and marketing service offering. We will further increase the scope of our partnership in various fields and continue to innovate our combined service portfolio.”
