Legacy has been chosen as the annual talking point and white paper subject for 2018 IMEX America. The talking point will consider how meetings and events are a force for good and how this long-term mindset links to the global meetings and events industry.
The talking point will consider planning events with longer-lasting, more meaningful impacts and the accompanying education programme will cover political, personal, environmental, CSR and social impact/knowledge legacy. CEO of IMEX, Carina Bauer said: “There is a growing consciousness of the long-term impact we all make on the world that is running throughout our industry, society and among individuals. Our talking point gives that consciousness due recognition.
“All of these topics are designed to help atendees produce engaging, inspiring and enjoyable events with long-lasting positive outcomes.”
The show will be working with partners including EventMB and Skift on new research in association with ProColombia. IMEX America will be held in Las Vegas from October 16-18, 2018.
