Korea wins major Canai International incentive group and corporate meeting

Around 1,400 employees of multinational health product company Canai International will attend a special company event at Seoul’s Grand Intercontinental Coex Hotel in Gangnam this week.

More than 400 of the overseas delegates hail from Hong Kong while an additional 2600 employees from the same source market will follow suit in 2018. The other countries represented in the contingent are Malaysia, Singapore, the US, Taiwan and other countries with Canai branches. New product launches and an employee fashion show will be the main features of the event. Participants will be regaled with a range of Korean-themed cultural entertainment courtesy of the Korea MICE Bureau (KMB), including a taekwondo demonstration, drum dance and other traditional Korean performances. Canai is famous for its huge motivational events for distributors.

While staying in hotels in both Seoul and surrounding Gyeonggi Province, the participants will also visit popular attractions in both locations, including Bukchon Hanok Village, the new Lotte World Tower complex, island resort Namiseom and the new Soyang Lake transparent ‘Sky Walk’ in Chuncheon City, among others.

In 2018, the Canai incentive event will be held in Busan, Korea’s largest port city, a regular recipient of overseas incentive visitors, including from companies such as Amway and Infinitus.

Kapsoo Kim, executive director of KMB, said: “We plan on continuing to attract events from multinational companies with global networks in order to diversify the Korean meetings and incentives market.”
