Hilton’s launches new Signia brand targeting meetings and events

Hilton has launched a new brand called Signia Hilton – a portfolio of hotels that will address the needs of the high-end business and events clients. Hilton claims its 17th brandwill  “transform the industry for meeting professionals and sophisticated business travellers by infusing state-of-the-art technology and design into every aspect of the guest experience”. They will be available in top urban and resort locations worldwide, beginning with Signia Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Signia Hilton Atlanta, Signia Hilton Orlando and Signia Hilton Indianapolis. Hilton is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

Each Signia Hilton property will offer fresh, modern design, new sustainable technology and upgraded F&B along with a minimum of 500 guest rooms and seven square metres of flexible meetings and events space per bedroom. Each property will install state-of-the-art technology, signature dining, design-forward guest rooms and premium wellness amenities.

There is a gap, we believe, in the upper end of the meetings and events space. We spent a lot of time with a lot of the people, talking to our customers about what they wanted, talking to meeting planners that do so much work in this space, about what they wanted.”

Meetings and events spaces are expected to be the pivot of each Signia Hilton. Large ballrooms and pre-function areas will feature smart design combined with the latest cutting-edge technology, while small and medium-size meeting rooms will feature unique design and technology to optimise meetings.
